Description

Wisteria floribunda ‘Honbeni’, also called “Pink Ice Japanese Wisteria”, is a vigorous flowering vine. This selection of deciduous Japanese wisteria produces soft pink racemes that are tinged with lavender and lightly scented. Since this vine grows more slowly than other cultivars, it makes a good choice for smaller gardens or arbors, where the beautiful 13 – 16″ flower clusters put on a long show. New growth is bronze, summer color is deep green, and in autumn the leaves turn yellow. Train and prune with care for reliable bloom. Be patient – could take a long time to bloom.
