Schefflera actinophylla ‘Amate’ is an umbrella tree that can make an impressive statement. Its leaves are glossy green andpalmately compound, forming what appears to be open hands with spread fingers. The trunk will turnwoody over time and the ‘Amate’ can get quite large an average indoor mature height is about 12′. It can serve as your foundation plantthat will take up some visual space, if you’re going for the jungle vibe.
