Description
Platycerium “Staghorn Fern,” or “Elkhorn Fern,” is a genus of ferns known for their fronds that are shaped like the aforementioned common names. It has two types fronds, the basal frond and the fertile frond. The basal fronds look like a helmet at the base of the plant to protect its roots, while the fuzzy fertile fronds are the “antler” part. P. elephantotis grows uniquely broad leaves and is a specimen plant you’ll never forget….
