Pinus strobus, commonly known as “White Pine”, is an evergreen selection with long gray-green needles and gray bark, becoming black and scaly with age. Fast grower with interesting asymmetrical habit that develops over time.

• Light:full sun
• Soil: well drained, regular garden soil
• Spacing: 20 – 40′
• Height at maturity:50 – 80′
• Fertilization: minimal fertilizer required
• Pruning: prune in spring, when new growth emerges
• Growth rate: 25″ or more per year
• Zones: 3 – 8
