Description

Picea abies’Rubra Spicata’, otherwise known as “Red Tipped Norway Spruce”, has red new growth – an unexpected color for a spruce. For a short time in spring heads will turn in awe at the deep red new foliage color. This spring color feature gradually changes to the familiar dark, rich green color typical of Norway Spruce. Can be a large tree with upward sweeping branches.
