Description
Liatris spicata, otherwise known as “Blazing Star” or “Gayfeather” has beautiful wads of rose-lavender flowers that open from the top down.

- Soil: moist, well drained, regular garden soil
- Spacing: 18 – 24″
- Height at maturity: 24 – 40″
- Pro tip:cut back faded flowers to encourage rebloom. For best cut flowers, snip spikes when about 2/3 open.
