Description
Imperata ‘Red Baron’, otherwise known as “Japanese Blood Grass”, has leaves that display unusual colors blending from green at the base to red towards the tips. Foliage color becomes a more intense red in late summer and autumn, seeming to glow like flickering flames. This grass is marginally hardy in most of our climates but if happy in its situation can be aggressive.
