Description
The Acer rubrum, or “Red Maple”, is a shade tree with reddish flowers in spring that are followed by winged red fruit. Green stems turn red in winter, new leaves are red-tinged, turning to green. Fall color is deep red or yellow.One of the first trees to color in autumn. Autumn foliage color varies from yellow to bright red. Hardy and fast growing.
