Description
Rhipsalidopsis, commonly known as “Spring Cactus” or “Easter Cactus”, is an interesting epiphytic cactus with a prolific bloom that shows up normally in the spring. Synonyms include Schlumbergera gaertneri and Hatiora. You might see the common name part of ‘cactus’ and follow suit on care but that is not the case. They are actually native to humid rainforests of the coast of Brasil so a different care is needed than the traditional cactus.
