Description

Miscanthus sinensis ‘Morning Light’, otherwise known as “Japanese Silver Grass”, is a very graceful ornamental grass. Slender green leaves edged with narrow bands of white blend beautifully with pastel colors in the garden. Retain an interesting form over winter.

• Light:full sun
• Soil: well drained, regular garden soil
• Spacing:3 – 4′
• Height at maturity: 4 – 6′
• Pruning:cut back in early spring before new growth appears
• Divide: in spring every 3 or 4 years to encourage upright form
• Zones:5 – 9
